InLight therapy sessions offer a range of benefits to overall well-being. Through the use of LED lights, these sessions provide a gentle and non-invasive treatment that can improve skin health, boost collagen production, reduce pain and inflammation, enhance circulation, and promote relaxation.
The targeted wavelengths of light penetrate deep into the tissues, stimulating cellular activity and healing from within.
Whether you're seeking relief from skin conditions, muscle soreness, or stress, InLight therapy can offer a natural and effective solution. Experience the power of InLight at Kōena!
FAQs
What can I expect during a treatment?
During a light therapy session, light pads are placed over specific meridians or body parts. Your practitioner will place the pads and then you will rest for 20-40 mins. You should feel no discomfort during the treatment. It is very relaxing and you may even fall asleep! This therapy may be used in conjunction with an acupuncture treatment at no extra charge.
What are the side effects?
Negative side effects are very rare! If you are dehydrated, you may find yourself with a headache. So please, come hydrated to your session and continue to hydrate throughout the day. Relaxation is the main side effect. You will feel a gentle warmth during the treatment, that should feel pleasant.
Since light therapy increases circulation, areas in pain may feel slightly more aggravated briefly. This is rare, and if it happens, it usually happens with acute injuries.
